INSPECTION

1. INSPECT COMBINATION SWITCH ASSEMBLY

(a) Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

Standard Resistance:

Tester Connection

Switch Condition

Specified Condition

1 (B) - 2 (IND)

AC main switch off

10 kΩ or higher

AC main switch on

Below 1 Ω

7 (MSW) - 6 (E)

AFS off switch off

10 kΩ or higher

AFS off switch on

Below 1 Ω

(b) Apply battery voltage to the connector, and check the LED illumination condition.

OK:

Measurement Condition

Specified Condition

Battery positive (+) → Terminal 4 (ILL+)

Battery negative (-) → Terminal 5 (ILL-)

LED illuminates

If the result is not as specified, there may be a malfunction in the combination switch assembly.
