Stop Light Control Relay Malfunction

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is stored when the master cylinder solenoid (skid control ECU) detects that the brake light relay is malfunctioning and transmits this to the seat belt control ECU via CAN communication.

PROCEDURE

1.

CHECK DTC (VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM)

(a) Using the Techstream, enter the following menus: Chassis / ABS/VSC/TRAC / Trouble Code.

(b) Check for DTCs BRAKE CONTROL / DYNAMIC CONTROL SYSTEMS: VEHICLE STABILITY CONTROL SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR (2008 LX570) .

OK:

DTC C1249 is not output.

OK

2.

CHECK DTC (PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM)

(a) Using the Techstream, enter the following menus: Body Electrical / Pre-Collision / Trouble Code.

(b) Clear the DTCs PRE-COLLISION: PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR (2008 LX570) .

(c) Check for DTCs PRE-COLLISION: PRE-COLLISION SYSTEM: DTC CHECK / CLEAR (2008 LX570) .

OK:

DTC B2071 is not output.
