- The procedures listed below are for the LH side.
1. DISCONNECT CABLE FROM NEGATIVE BATTERY TERMINAL
NOTICE:

w/ Navigation System:
After the engine switch is turned off, the HDD navigation system requires approximately 6 minutes to record various types of memory and settings. As a result, after turning the engine switch off, wait 6 minutes or more before disconnecting the cable from the negative (-) battery terminal.

When disconnecting the cable, some systems need to be initialized after the cable is reconnected
.
2. REMOVE REAR SEAT CUSHION HINGE COVER LH
(a) Remove the rear seat cushion hinge cover LH
.
3. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT HINGE COVER LH
(a) Remove the rear No. 2 seat hinge cover LH
.
4. REMOVE RECLINING ADJUSTER COVER RH
(a) Remove the reclining adjuster cover RH
.

5. OPEN BOTTOM OF SEATBACK COVER (a) Detach the hook. |

6. REMOVE REAR SEATBACK LOCK STRIKER ASSEMBLY LH (a) Detach the clamp. (b) Remove the nut, bolt and remove the striker. |
7. REMOVE POWER SEAT MOTOR SUB-ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the power seat motor sub-assembly
.
8. REMOVE REAR NO. 2 SEAT ASSEMBLY
(a) Remove the rear No. 2 seat
.
9. REMOVE REAR STEP COVER
10. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE LH
11. REMOVE REAR FLOOR MAT REAR SUPPORT PLATE
12. REMOVE NO. 1 LUGGAGE COMPARTMENT TRIM HOOK
13. REMOVE FRONT QUARTER TRIM PANEL ASSEMBLY LH
14. REMOVE REAR ROOF NO. 1 AIR DUCT
15. REMOVE NO. 1 WOOFER BOX SPEAKER ASSEMBLY (for RH Side, w/ Woofer)

16. UNLOCK FOLD SEAT LEG LOCK SUB-ASSEMBLY BY HAND (a) Pull the release lever in the direction shown in the illustration to release the lock. |
