BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER > REASSEMBLY

1. INSTALL BRAKE STROKE SIMULATOR CYLINDER SUB-ASSEMBLY

  1. Install the brake stroke simulator cylinder to the brake simulator bracket with the 2 bolts.

    Torque:
    8.0 N*m{ 82 kgf*cm , 71 in.*lbf }

  1. Install the connector to the brake stroke simulator bracket.



2. INSTALL MASTER CYLINDER PUSH ROD CLEVIS

  1. Temporarily install the brake master cylinder push rod clevis with the lock nut.

    HINT:
    After checking and adjusting the brake pedal height, tighten the lock nut firmly.



3. INSTALL BRAKE MASTER CYLINDER

  1. Temporarily install 2 new master cylinder gaskets, master cylinder and brake stroke simulator bracket to the master cylinder bracket with the 2 nuts.

  1. Temporarily install the brake tube.

  1. Full tighten the 2 nuts.

    Torque:
    12.5 N*m{ 127 kgf*cm , 9 ft.*lbf }



  1. LHD:

    1. Use the SST to fully tighten the brake tube.

      SST

      Torque:
      15 N*m{ 155 kgf*cm , 11 ft.*lbf }



  1. RHD:

    1. Use the SST to fully tighten the brake tube.

      SST
      09023-00101  

      Torque:
      15 N*m{ 155 kgf*cm , 11 ft.*lbf }
