1. DRAIN ENGINE COOLANT
  1. Remove the radiator cap.

    CAUTION:
    To avoid the danger of being burned, do not remove the radiator cap while the engine and radiator are still hot. Thermal expansion will cause hot engine coolant and steam to blow out from the radiator.

  1. Drain the engine coolant by loosening the lower drain plug of the radiator and the cylinder block drain cock plugs.

    HINT:
    Engine coolant inside the radiator is drained from the drain hole located on the bottom of the engine under cover.



  1. Tighten the cylinder block drain cock plugs.

    Torque:
    13 N*m{ 133 kgf*cm , 9 in.*lbf }

2. REMOVE ENGINE UNDER COVER NO.1


3. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL
  1. Remove the 4 clips and cool air intake duct seal.



4. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP W/INLET

  1. Remove the 2 bolts, 4 clamps and air cleaner cap w/ inlet.

  1. Remove the air cleaner filter element from the air cleaner case.



5. DISCONNECT RADIATOR HOSE INLET

  1. Disconnect the radiator hose inlet from the No.2 radiator assembly.



6. DISCONNECT RADIATOR HOSE OUTLET

  1. Disconnect the radiator hose outlet from the No.2 radiator assembly.



7. SEPARATE HOOD LOCK ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the 2 screws.

  1. Detach the claws and remove the hood lock control cable cover.

  1. Using a screwdriver, remove the cap.

  1. Remove the 2 bolts and nut, and separate the hood lock.



8. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY UPPER

  1. Remove the bolt and separate the suction tube bracket.

  1. Disconnect the horn connectors.

  1. Remove the 5 bolts and the radiator support upper.



9. REMOVE FAN SHROUD

  1. Disconnect the engine coolant reservoir hose.

  1. Disconnect the cooling fan ECU connectors.

  1. Remove the 4 bolts and the fan shroud.



10. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT CUSHION

  1. Remove the 2 radiator support cushions from the radiator supports.



11. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY LH

  1. Remove the 3 bolts and the radiator support LH.



12. REMOVE RADIATOR SUPPORT SUB-ASSEMBLY RH

  1. Remove the 3 bolts and the radiator support RH.



13. REMOVE NO.2 RADIATOR ASSEMBLY

  1. Remove the 4 bolts, and remove the radiator from the radiator support lowers.

  1. Lift the radiator, then remove it.

    NOTICE:
    Do not allow the cooler condenser and radiator to come into contact with each other.
