DESCRIPTION

The HV control ECU monitors the connection status of the circuit breaker sensor RR RH signal (collision signal) line. If the ECU detects a malfunction, it will alert the driver.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.CHECK HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU (VOLTAGE CHECK)
  1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

  1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard voltage:
    Tester Connection
    Specified Condition
    BS1 (H30-26) - BS1G (H30-34)
    2.3 to 3.1 V



NG
Go to step 4
OK


2.CLEAR DTC (HV)
  1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

  1. Select the following menu items: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / DTC / Clear.

3.RECONFIRM OUTPUT DTCS (HV)
  1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

  1. Select the following menu items: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / DTC.

  1. Read output DTCs. (Click here)

    Result:
    P3187-751 and P3188-752 are output.

4.INSPECT REAR CIRCUIT BREAKER SENSOR RH
  1. Disconnect the C22 rear circuit breaker sensor RH connector.

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance:
    Tester Connection
    Specified Condition
    1(SCR-) to 2(SCR+)
    0.65 to 1.0kΩ
    at 20°C (68°F)
