1. ADJUST PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH

  1. Loosen the 2 bolts of park/neutral position switch and set the shift lever to the N position.

  1. Align the protruding part and neutral basic line.

    NOTICE:
    There is play on the nut stopper side (protruding part). Align the center point of the range of the play with the neutral basic line.

  1. Tighten the 2 bolts in the order shown in the illustration.

    Torque:
    13 N*m{ 133 kgf*cm , 10 ft.*lbf }



2. INSPECT PARK/NEUTRAL POSITION SWITCH

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard resistance:


    		A-1 (D)
    		A-2 (N)
    		A-3 (P)
    		A-4 (R)
    		A-5 (MJ)
    		A-6 (FD)
    		A-7 (B)
    		A-9 (RV)
    P position
    		10 kΩ or higher
    		4.2 to 5.1 kΩ
    		Below 1 Ω
    		10 kΩ or higher
    		Below 1 Ω
    		10 kΩ or higher

    R position
