HINT:
If the power voltage to the ECU returns to normal within 10 seconds during tilt or telescopic operation, the operation will be resumed. If it returns to normal after 10 seconds have elapsed, the operation restarts when a tilt or telescopic operation signal is reinput to the ECU.

  1. If the communication of an ECU related to this system is interrupted, the ECU effects the controls listed below. (Example: When the windshield wiper switch assembly (combination switch ECU) is defective, manual operation is not available but the auto away/return and position memory functions can operate.)
