DESCRIPTION

Upon receiving a boost converter gate shutdown signal from the HV control ECU, the MG ECU shuts down the boost converter gate. The MG ECU monitors boost converter gate shutdown signals and boost converter gate conditions, and sends this information to the HV control ECU. If a command and monitor result do not match, the HV control ECU will store this DTC.

MONITOR DESCRIPTION

The HV control ECU monitors the boost converter gate shutdown (CSDN) signal. If the HV control ECU detects a fault in the CSDN signal, HV control ECU illuminates the MIL and sets a DTC.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.READ OUTPUT DTC (HV)

  1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

  1. Select the following menu items: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / DTC.

  1. Read output DTC. (Click here)

    Result:
    DTCs except P0A94-561 is output.
