1. INSPECT TIRES
  1. Check the tires for wear and proper inflation pressure.
    Cold tire inflation pressure
    Tire size
    For driving under 180 km/h (112 mph)
    kPa (kgf/cm2, psi)
For driving at over 180 km/h (112 mph)
    kPa (kgf/cm2, psi)
    235/55R18 99V
    220 (2.2, 32)
    230 (2.3, 34)
    235/55R18 100V
    220 (2.2, 32)
    230 (2.3, 34)

  1. Using a dial indicator, check the tire runout (vertical and horizontal).

    Tire runout:
1.0 mm (0.039 in.) or less

2. MEASURE VEHICLE HEIGHT

    C113114E02
  1. Bounce the vehicle at the corners up and down to stabilize the suspension and inspect vehicle height.

    Vehicle height:
    Front A - B
    Rear C - D
    110.6 mm (4.35 in.)
    21.1 mm (0.83 in.)

    Measuring points:
    A:
Ground clearance of front wheel center
    B:
Ground clearance of lower suspension arm No.2 bush set bolt center
    C:
Ground clearance of rear wheel center
    D:
Ground clearance of strut rod set bolt center

    NOTICE:
Before inspecting the wheel alignment, adjust the vehicle height to the specified range.

    HINT:
Bounce the vehicle at the corners up and down to stabilize the suspension and inspect vehicle height.

3. INSPECT TOE-IN

    SA03213E02
  1. Bounce the vehicle at the corners up and down to stabilize the suspension and inspect toe-in.

    Toe-in:
    Toe-in
    (total)
    -
    A + B:
    C - D:
    0°14' +- 9' (0.24° +- 0.16°)
    3 +- 2 mm (0.12 +- 0.08 in.)

If the toe-in is not within the specified range, inspect the suspension parts and replace them if necessary.

4. ADJUST TOE-IN

    C107306
  1. Measure the distance between each wheel disc and center of the toe-adjusting cam, and then confirm that left and right distances are the same.

Difference in the length of rear suspension arm No.2:
1.0 mm (0.04 in.) or less

If the left-right difference is larger than 1.0 mm (0.04 in.), adjust it by following the procedures below.

  1. Loosen the toe-adjust cam set nuts.

  1. Turn the adjust cams by an equal amount to adjust toe-in.

    HINT:
    1. Try to adjust toe-in to the center of the specified range.
    2. The toe-in will change by the following specifications corresponding to each graduation of the cam.
      Approx. 3.3 mm (0.13 in.)

  1. Tighten the toe-adjust cam set nuts.

    Torque:
    100 N*m{ 1,020 kgf*cm , 74 ft.*lbf }

5. INSPECT CAMBER

Camber:
-0°35' +- 45' (-0.58° +- 0.75°)

Right-left error:
45' (0.75°) or less

HINT:
Camber is not adjustable. If the measurement is not within the specification, inspect the suspension parts for damage and/or wear, and replace them if necessary.
