1. REMOVE COOL AIR INTAKE DUCT SEAL

  1. Remove the 4 clips and cool air intake duct seal.



2. REMOVE AIR CLEANER CAP W/ INLET

  1. Remove the 2 bolts, 4 clamps and air cleaner cap w/ inlet.

  1. Remove the air cleaner filter element from the air cleaner case.



3. REMOVE VVT SENSOR (for Bank 1)

  1. Disconnect the VVT sensor (Bank 1) connector.

  1. Remove the bolt, and then remove the VVT sensor (Bank 1).



4. REMOVE VVT SENSOR (for Bank 2)

  1. Disconnect the heated oxygen sensor connector (Bank 2) from the wire harness bracket.

  1. Disconnect the VVT sensor (Bank 2) connector.

  1. Remove the bolt, and then remove the VVT sensor (Bank 2).
