1. INSPECT BACK DOOR COURTESY SWITCH (W/O POWER BACK DOOR)

  1. Remove the back door lock assembly (back door courtesy switch).

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Resistance:
    Tester connection
    		Switch condition
    		Specified condition
    1 - 2
    		Closed
    		10 kΩ or higher
    1 - 2
    		Opened
    		Below 1 Ω

    If the result is not as specified, replace the back door lock assembly (back door courtesy switch).



2. INSPECT BACK DOOR COURTESY SWITCH (W/ POWER BACK DOOR)

  1. Remove the back door lock assembly (back door courtesy switch).

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Resistance:
    Tester connection
    		Switch condition
    		Specified condition
    1 - 6
    		Closed
    		10 kΩ or higher
    1 - 6
    		Opened
    		Below 1 Ω

    If the result is not as specified, replace the back door lock assembly (back door courtesy switch).
