Use the intelligent tester to check for normal function of the multiplex communication system.
(ECU unconnected, communication line malfunctioning) If no codes are output, proceed to A.
(ECU unconnected, communication line malfunctioning) If any codes are output, proceed to B.

| 3.DTC CHECK |
Check for DTC and note any codes that are output.
Delete the DTC.
Recheck for DTCs. Try to prompt the DTC by simulating the original activity that the DTC suggests.
If the DTC does not reoccur, proceed to A.
If the DTC reoccurs, proceed to B.
