In order to deter the vehicle theft, the system is designed to sound an alarm if any of the doors or engine hood is forcibly unlocked or opened, the battery terminal is disconnected, the cable for the siren is cut, or the system detects that the vehicle is being tampered with.
The system causes the horn and siren to sound intermittently and the hazard warning lights and interior lights to flash as an alarm.
The system has an intrusion (theft warning) sensor to detect intruders. The intrusion sensor can be turned off to prevent false alarms.
