INSPECTION PROCEDURE

NOTICE:
  1. When troubleshooting the oil pump w/ motor assembly, check for the following conditions:
    1. ATF temperature inside the oil cooler is 5°C (41 °F) or more.
    2. Value of the ambient temperature sensor is 5°C (41 °F) or more.

1.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HV CONTROL ECU - OIL PUMP W/MOTOR ASSEMBLY)

  1. Disconnect the H31 HV control ECU connector.

  1. Disconnect the oil pump w/ motor assembly connector.

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance:
    Tester Connection
    Specified Condition
    OPST (H31-7) - Body ground
    10 kΩ or higher

2.INSPECT OIL PUMP W/MOTOR ASSEMBLY

  1. Disconnect the O3 oil pump w/ motor assembly connector.

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance:
    Tester Connection
    Specified Condition
    STAT (O3-2) - Body ground
    10 kΩ or higher
