INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (ST2 TERMINAL VOLTAGE)

  1. Disconnect the H29 connector from the HV control ECU.

  1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below when the ignition switch is off.

    Standard Voltage:
    Tester Connection
    		Specified Condition
    ST2 (H29-20) - Body ground
    		Below 1 V



OK
Go to step 3
NG


2.CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (HV CONTROL ECU - IGNITION SWITCH)

  1. Turn the ignition switch off.

  1. Disconnect the I14 ignition switch connector.

  1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Voltage:
    Tester Connection
    		Specified Condition
    ST2 (H29-20) or ST2 (I14-8) - Body ground
    		Below 1 V



NG
REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK

REPLACE IGNITION SWITCH ASSEMBLY 

3.CLEAR DTC (HV)

  1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

  1. Select the following menu items: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / DTC / Clear.


NEXT


4.RECONFIRM OUTPUT DTC (HV)

  1. Turn the ignition switch off.

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position again and leave the vehicle as it is for approximately 5 seconds.

  1. Select the following menu items: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / DTC.

  1. Read output DTC. (Click here)

    OK:
    DTC P0617-142 is output again.
