REAR SPEED SENSOR > REMOVAL

1. REMOVE REAR DOOR OPENING TRIM WEATHER STRIP


2. REMOVE REAR DOOR SCUFF PLATE

  1. Disengage the 4 claws and 2 clips, and remove the rear door scuff plate.

  1. Disconnect the connector. (w/ illumination scuff plate)



3. REMOVE DECK SIDE TRIM COVER

  1. Using a moulding remover, disengage 3 claws (A).

  1. Disengage 2 claws (B) and remove the deck side trim cover by pulling it to inside the vehicle.



4. REMOVE REAR SEAT SIDE COVER

  1. Using a clip remover, remove the 3 clips.

  1. Disengage the 4 clips and remove the rear seat side cover.



5. REMOVE REAR WHEEL


6. REMOVE REAR SPEED SENSOR

  1. Disconnect the rear speed sensor connector.

    NOTICE:
    Be careful not to damage the wire harness.

  1. Pull out the sensor wire harness with the grommet.

    NOTICE:
    Do not pull the sensor wire.

  1. Remove the 2 bolts that hold the sensor harness, from the body and the shock absorber bracket.

  1. Remove the bolt and the rear speed sensor.

    NOTICE:
    1. Prevent foreign matter from attaching to the sensor tip.
    2. Clean the installation hole and surface for the speed sensor every time the speed sensor is removed.
