DESCRIPTION

The HV control ECU monitors the connection status of the circuit breaker sensor No.1 signal (collision signal) line. If the ECU detects a malfunction, it will alert the driver.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1.INSPECT HYBRID VEHICLE CONTROL ECU (VOLTAGE CHECK)

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

  1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard voltage:
    Tester Connection
    Specified Condition
    AS1G (H34-34) - AS1 (H34-27)
    2.3 to 3.1 V



NG
Go to step 4
OK


2.CLEAR DTC (HV)
  1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

  1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

  1. Select the following menu items: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / DTC / Clear.

3.RECONFIRM OUTPUT DTCS (HV)
  1. Turn the ignition switch to the ON position.

  1. Select the following menu items: Powertrain / Hybrid Control / DTC.

  1. Read output DTCs. (Click here)

    Result:
    P3137-348 and P3138-349 are output.

4.INSPECT CIRCUIT BREAKER SENSOR NO.1
  1. Turn the ignition switch off.

  1. Disconnect the C17 circuit breaker sensor No.1 connector.

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance:
    Tester Connection
    Specified Condition
    1(SIF-) to 2(SIF+)
    0.65k to 1.0kΩ
    at 20°C ( 68°F)
