  2. Applies to "STEERING SENSOR COMMUNICATION STOP MODE" in the "DTC COMBINATION TABLE"
  1. Power source circuit of the steering sensor
  2. Steering sensor

INSPECTION PROCEDURE


1. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (IG, ESS)

  1. Turn the ignition switch off.

  1. G030155E21
    Disconnect the steering sensor connector (S10).

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Resistance:
    Tester Connection
    		 Condition
    		 Specified Value
    S10-2 (ESS) - Body ground
    		Always
    		 Below 1 Ω

  1. Measure the voltage according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Standard Voltage:
    Tester Connection
    		 Condition
    		 Specified Value
    S10-1 (IG1) - Body ground
    		 Ignition switch on
    		 10 to 14 V
