TS and CG Terminal Circuit

Circuit diagnosis

DESCRIPTION

In the sensor check mode, a malfunction of the speed sensor that cannot be detected when the vehicle is stopped is detected while driving.
Transition to the sensor check mode can be performed by connecting terminals TS and CG of the DLC3 and turning the ignition switch from off to ON position.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE


1. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (SKID CONTROL ECU TO DLC3 (TS))

  1. C112028E02
    Turn the ignition switch off.

  1. Disconnect the skid control ECU connector.

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Resistance:
    Tester Connection
    Specified Condition
    S40-32 (TS) - D1-12 (TS)
    Below 1 Ω

REPAIR OR REPLACE HARNESS OR CONNECTOR
OK


2. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DLC3 (CG) TO BODY GROUND)

  1. C052361E85
    Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Resistance:
    Tester Connection
    Specified Condition
    D1-4 (CG) - Body ground
    Below 1 Ω

3. CHECK HARNESS AND CONNECTOR (DLC3 (TS) TO BODY GROUND)

  1. C052361E86
    Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Resistance:
    Tester Connection
    Specified Condition
    D1-12 (TS) - Body ground
    10 kΩ or higher

    HINT:
    If troubleshooting has been carried out according to the PROBLEM SYMPTOMS TABLE, refer back to the table and proceed to the next step before replacing the part (Click here).
