INSTALLATION

Removal / installation


1. TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN REAR SUSPENSION NO.1 ARM

  1. C107474E01
    Install the rear suspension arm No.1 (inner side) with the bolt, and temporarily tighten the bolt.

    HINT:
    Ensure that the paint mark faces to the rear side of the vehicle.

  1. Set the rear suspension arm No.1 in the position shown in the illustration, and fully tighten the bolt.

    Torque:
    80 N*m{ 816 kgf*cm , 59 ft.*lbf }

    NOTICE:
    When temporarily tightening the bolt, keep the nut from rotating.

    Install the rear suspension arm No.1 (outer side) to the rear axle carrier, and temporarily tighten the bolt.

    NOTICE:
    When temporarily tightening the bolt, keep the nut from rotating.


2. TEMPORARILY TIGHTEN REAR STRUT ROD

    Install the strut rod (rear side), bolt and nut, and temporarily tighten the bolt.

    NOTICE:
    When temporarily tightening the bolt, keep the nut from rotating.

    Support the rear axle carrier.

  1. C107672E01
    Connect the strut rod (inner side) with the bolt and nut.

    NOTICE:
    When temporarily tightening the bolt, keep the nut from rotating.


3. STABILIZE SUSPENSION

    Jack up the rear axle carrier, placing a wooden block to avoid damage. Apply load to the suspension so that the rear drive shaft assembly is horizontally positioned.


4. FULLY TIGHTEN REAR SUSPENSION NO.1 ARM

  1. C108229
    Fully tighten the bolt.

    Torque:
    112 N*m{ 1,140 kgf*cm , 83 ft.*lbf }


5. FULLY TIGHTEN REAR STRUT ROD

  1. C107673E01
    Fully tighten the bolt.

    Torque:
    80 N*m{ 816 kgf*cm , 59 ft.*lbf }

  1. C107672E01
    Fully tighten the bolt.

    Torque:
    80 N*m{ 816 kgf*cm , 59 ft.*lbf }


6. CONNECT PARKING BRAKE NO.3 CABLE ASSEMBLY

  1. C107671E02
    Install the parking brake cable assembly No.3 with the nut.

    Torque:
    6.0 N*m{ 61 kgf*cm , 53 in.*lbf }


7. INSTALL REAR WHEEL

Torque:
103 N*m{ 1,050 kgf*cm , 76 ft.*lbf }


8. INSPECT AND ADJUST REAR WHEEL ALIGNMENT
