B2421 Steering neutral point correction recording Steering position sensor circuit

DESCRIPTION

This DTC is output when AFS ECU does not finish steering neutral point automatic correction. AFS operation is prohibited while this DTC is being output. This DTC is completed and AFS operation starts when AFS ECU records the steering neutral point correctly. If this DTC is not automatically erased, perform repair or replacement by following the procedures below.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1. CHECK DTC

1. Check that DTC B2414 and B2415 is not output (Click here).

   OK:

   DTC is not output.
   

NG	GO TO FLOW CHART

OK

2. AFS ECU RE-INITIALIZATION

1. Return to normal condition.

   OK:

   DTC is not output.
   

NG	REPLACE AFS ECU
