DESCRIPTION
- This DTC is detected when communication between the center cluster integration panel and multiplex network gateway ECU stops for more than 10 seconds.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE
- HINT:
- When "+B of GND short malfunction of communication bus" DTCs (B1266 andB1267) are detected at the same time as "communication stop" DTC B1277, repair the "+B or GND short malfunction of communication bus" DTCs first.
| 1. INSPECT FUSE (GAUGE No.1) |
Remove the GAUGE No.1 fuse from the instrument panel junction block.
Measure the resistance of the fuse.
- Standard resistance:
- Below 1 Ω

| 2. CHECK WIRE HARNESS (CENTER CLUSTER INTEGRATION PANEL - BATTERY AND BODY GROUND) |
Disconnect the C4 panel connector.

Measure the voltage of the wire harness side connector.
- Standard voltage:

C4-9 (IG+) - Body ground
Ignition switch ON
10 to 14 V
Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connector.
- Standard resistance:
Tester Connection
Specified Condition
C4-7 (GND) - Body ground

Disconnect the C8 and G1 ECU connectors.


Measure the resistance of the wire harness side connectors.
- Standard resistance:
