INSPECT BACK DOOR COURTESY SWITCH (W/O POWER BACK DOOR)

  1. E069052
    Remove the back door lock assembly (back door courtesy switch).

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Resistance:
    Tester connection
    		 Switch condition
    		 Specified condition
    1 - 2
    		 Closed
    		 10 kΩ or higher
    1 - 2
    		 Opened
    		 Below 1 Ω

    If the result is not as specified, replace the back door lock assembly (back door courtesy switch).

  1. E069053
    Remove the back door lock assembly (back door courtesy switch).

  1. Measure the resistance according to the value(s) in the table below.

    Resistance:
    Tester connection
    		 Switch condition
    		 Specified condition
    1 - 6
    		 Closed
    		 10 kΩ or higher
    1 - 6
    		 Opened
    		 Below 1 Ω

    If the result is not as specified, replace the back door lock assembly (back door courtesy switch).
