AWD Warning Remains ON

DESCRIPTION

The skid control ECU is connected to the combination meter assembly via CAN and Multiplex communications.
If any of the following is detected, the multi-information display indicates a malfunction in the axle system.

1. There is a malfunction in the skid control ECU internal circuit.
   
2. A low voltage is applied to the power source for the skid control ECU.
   
3. There is a malfunction in the CAN communication system.
   
4. There is a malfunction in the brake control system.
   
5. There is a malfunction in the hybrid control system.
   
6. Fail-safe function is operating.
   
7. AWD warning illumination demand signal from the HV control ECU is input.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

1. INSPECT SKID CONTROL ECU (POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT OF SKID CONTROL ECU)

1. Check the power source circuit of the skid control ECU (Click here).

   HINT:

   According to the power source circuit inspection of the brake control system.

   OK:

   The skid control ECU power source circuit is normal.
   

NG	REPAIR POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT (ACCORDING TO POWER SOURCE CIRCUIT TROUBLESHOOTING)

2. CHECK COMBINATION METER ASSEMBLY

1. Connect the intelligent tester to the DLC3.

2. Start the engine and turn the intelligent tester main switch on.

3. Select the "Active Test" mode on the intelligent tester (Click here).

4. Check that the multi-information display is "ON" or "OFF" when using the intelligent tester.

   Active Test: Meter

   OK:

   The multi-information display turns on or off in accordance with the intelligent tester.
