61-40	A malfunction due to mechanical problem has occurred, cassette tape is cut or entangled.	Cassette tape Radio receiver
61-41	A malfunction due to mechanical problem.
61-42	Cassette tape is tangled.

INSPECTION PROCEDURE

HINT:

After the inspection is completed, clear the DTCs.

1. PRESS "EJECT" AND CHECK OPERATION

1. Press the cassette tape EJECT switch of the radio receiver for 2 seconds or more and check that the cassette tape is ejected.

   OK:

   Cassette tape is ejected.
   

NG	REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER

OK

2. CHECK CASSETTE TAPE

1. Check that the ejected cassette tape does not have a peeling label, cassette body deformation or other problems.

   OK:

   No problem with cassette tape.
   

NG	CASETTE TAPE IS FAULTY

OK

3. REPLACE CASETTE TAPE WITH ANOTHER AND RECHECK

1. Replace the cassette tape with a normal one and check if the same problem occurs again.

   1. Clear the DTC (Click here).

   2. Recheck DTCs and check if the same trouble occurs again.

      OK:

      Malfunction disappears.
      

NG	REPLACE RADIO RECEIVER
