Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor

Removal & Installation

To Remove:

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. Disconnect the mass air flow (MAF) sensor electrical connector and the air intake tube.
3. Remove the 4 bolts and the MAF sensor.

CAUTION
Do not tamper with the MAF sensing elements in the airflow bypass because this can cause failure.

To Install:

NOTE: The MAF sensor module and body are calibrated and installed as a unit.

CAUTION
Do not tamper with the MAF sensing elements in the airflow bypass because this can cause failure.

1. Install the MAF sensor and bolts.
2. Connect the MAF sensor electrical connector and the air intake tube.
3. Connect the negative battery cable.
