To Remove:
- Remove the front disc brake caliper anchor plate.
- Remove the brake disc and hub.
- If necessary, resurface the brake disc and hub.
To Install:
- Clean and examine the front wheel bearings and the brake disc and hub. Next, lubricate the front wheel bearings with the correct type of grease and install a new wheel hub grease seal then install the brake disc and hub.
- Tighten the spindle nut as you turn the brake disc and hub.
- Torque to 21 ft-lb (28.5 Nm).
- Loosen the spindle nut by turning counterclockwise 175°.
- Tighten the spindle nut while rotating the brake disc and hub.
- Torque to 17 in-lb (2 Nm).
- Install the nut retainer, cotter pin, and hub grease cap.
- Install the front disc brake caliper anchor plate.
