Check the levels of brake fluid in the brake master cylinder reservoir once a month or every 3,000 miles (4,800 km). The fluid level should be maintained to a level between the MAX and the MIN lines on the master cylinder reservoir. Never add a mixture of fluid. Any sudden decrease in the level in the reservoir indicates a leak in the brake system and should be checked out immediately. A slight gradual decrease in the fluid level in the master cylinder is normal due to brake pad wear.
