REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

1. Disconnect the negative battery cable.
2. For 2.0L non-turbo engines, remove the engine under cover.

3. Detach the electrical connector at the sensor.
4. For 2.0L turbo engines, remove the intake manifold stay.

5. Remove the sensor from the engine block.

   To install:

6. Install the knock sensor in the opening in the engine block and tighten the sensor retainer.
7. Attach the electrical connector to the sensor.
8. Connect the negative battery cable.
