REMOVAL & INSTALLATION

Diamante Wagon

1. Disconnect the tailgate support.
2. Disconnect the washer fluid tube.
3. Disconnect any necessary wiring harnesses.
4. Have an assistant support the tailgate.
5. Remove the nuts holding the tailgate to the hinge.
6. Remove the tailgate from the vehicle and place it in a safe place.
7. The installation is the reverse of removal. Tighten the hinge nuts to 10 ft. lbs. (14 Nm).
8. Check the alignment of the tailgate.
