Fuel Gauge Unit and Pump Assembly

Removal & Installation

To Remove:

1. Remove the rear seat cushion.
2. Remove the protector.

3. Disconnect the connectors from the fuel gauge unit and pump assembly, then remove the fuel gauge unit.

To Install:

1. As you install the fuel gauge unit and pump assembly, tilt the float at the end to the left and insert it into the Fuel Tank.

   NOTE: Because there is a reservoir inside the Fuel Tank, if the fuel gauge unit and pump assembly is tilted to the right and inserted, it will touch the reservoir.

2. Line up the packing positioning projections (shown with arrows) with the holes in the fuel gauge unit and pump assembly.
3. Install the protector.
4. Install the rear seat cushion.
