Removal & Installation

Bulb Replacement

To Remove:

1. To gain access on the right-hand side, remove the horn and the washer bottle.
2. To gain access on the left-hand side, safely raise and support the vehicle and then remove the wheel and inner splash shield.
3. Remove the connectors and dust seals from the bulb holders.
4. To remove a high/low bulb, push the wire clip forward and downward to release the bulb assembly.

   High/low beam bulb

5. To remove a high beam bulb, twist the bulb housing counterclockwise.

To Install:

NOTE: Do not touch the surface of the bulb with your hands or with anything dirty. If dirt does get on the surface of the bulb, clean the surface with alcohol and let it dry completely before installing.

NOTE: Make sure that tangs and slots are properly lined up when fitting bulb and holder assemblies.

1. To insert a high beam bulb, twist the bulb housing clockwise.

2. To insert a high/low bulb, push the wire clip upward and back to retain the bulb assembly.

3. Install the connectors and dust seals onto the bulb holders.
4. To complete installation on the left-hand side, install the inner splash shield and wheel and then safely lower the vehicle.
5. To complete installation on the right-hand side, install the washer bottle and horn.

Headlight Assembly

To Remove:

1. Safely raise and support the vehicle.
2. Remove the front wheels and inner splash shields to access the inner bumper area.
3. Remove the front bumper fasteners, headlight retaining bolt, and headlight-to-front-support-panel bolts.
4. Remove the radiator grille, air director flap, and front headlight retaining bolt.
5. Release the top of the bumper from the front support panel then remove the connections for the bulb.
6. Push down the front bumper and pull the headlight assembly forward to remove it.

To Install:

1. Install the headlight assembly by pushing it back and then pushing up the front bumper.
2. Attach the connections for the bulb then replace the top of the bumper back into the front support panel.
3. Install the front headlight retaining bolt, air director flap, and the radiator grille.
4. Install the headlight-to-front-support-panel bolts, headlight retaining bolt, and the front bumper fasteners.
5. Install the inner splash shields and the front wheels.
6. Safely lower the vehicle.
