Crankshaft Position Sensor

Removal & Installation

2.4L Engine

To Remove:

  1. Remove the timing belt.
  2. Remove the power steering pressure hose.
  3. Remove the power steering pump and bracket.
  4. Remove the crankshaft position sensor.

Crankshaft position sensor (2.4L)

To Install:

  1. Install the crankshaft position sensor.
  2. Install the power steering pump and bracket.
  3. Install the power steering pressure hose.
  4. Install the timing belt.
3.0L Engine

To Remove:

  1. Remove the timing belt.
  2. Remove the crankshaft position sensor and wiring clip.
  3. Remove the crankshaft position sensor.

Crankshaft position sensor (3.0L)

To Install:

  1. Install the crankshaft position sensor and wiring clip.
  2. Install the timing belt.
