Master Cylinder Bleeding

CAUTION
All new master cylinders should be bled prior to installation.

1. Fill the master cylinder reservoir with new brake fluid.
2. Place a container or shop rag under the master cylinder to catch fluid.
3. Depress the brake pedal and have an assistant cover the fluid ports with fingers.
4. Release the brake pedal. This will fill the cylinder with brake fluid.
5. Repeat steps 3 and 4 a few time to remove air pockets from the master cylinder.
6. Connect the fluid lines to the master cylinder.
