Fuel Pump

Removal & Installation

To Remove:

1. Remove the rear seat cushion and access hole cover.
2. Relieve the fuel system pressure.

CAUTION
Cover the fuel line with a shop rag in case fuel sprays out.

3. Disconnect the fuel line and electrical connectors from the top of the fuel pump module.
4. Remove the fuel pump module mounting nuts.
5. Lift the fuel pump module out of the tank. Spill any fuel remaining in the fuel pump module back into the tank.

To Install:

1. Install a new gasket.
2. Install the fuel pump module and mounting nuts.
3. Connect the fuel lines and electrical connectors to the fuel pump module. Pull on the fuel line to verify proper connection.
4. Install the access hole cover.
5. Install the rear seat cushion.
