Fuel Tank

Removal & Installation

To Remove:

1. Drain the fuel tank as much as possible.
2. Relieve the fuel system pressure.
3. Disconnect the fuel pump module connectors.
4. Remove the center exhaust pipe.
5. Disconnect the electrical connectors and hoses from the fuel tank.
6. Place a suitable jack under the fuel tank and remove the mounting straps.
7. Lower the fuel tank from the vehicle.

To Install:

1. Raise the tank to the vehicle and install the mounting straps.
2. Remove the jack.
3. Connect the electrical connectors and hoses to the fuel tank.
4. Install the center exhaust pipe.
5. Connect the fuel pump module connectors and install the access cover and seat cushion.
