Removal & Installation

To Remove:

1. Recover the refrigerant.
2. Remove the front bumper under cover.
3. Remove the right undercover.
4. Remove the drive belt.
5. Disconnect the refrigerant hoses.
6. Remove the A/C compressor.

To Install:

NOTE: The new compressor may contain 4.7 fl. oz (140 ml) of refrigerant oil. Drain and measure the amount of oil from the old compressor. Drain a portion of the oil from the new compressor so the remaining oil equals the amount drained from the old compressor.

1. Install the A/C compressor.
2. Connect the refrigerant hoses.
3. Install the drive belt.
4. Install the right undercover.
5. Install the front bumper under cover.
6. Evacuate and charge the A/C system and check for leaks.
