Some components on the MFI system need to be inspected using a special Mitsubishi tool (Multi Use Tester MUT/MUT II), this tool is expensive and, unless extensive testing is foreseen, it might be more financially feasible to test the harness yourself and have the component tested by an automotive mechanic familiar with Mitsubishi vehicles.
