Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable from the battery.
Remove the inside handle cover by unscrewing the retaining screws.
Remove the back door trim — refer to Section 10 for the
procedure.
Pop the wiper arm nut cover off and remove the retaining nut.
Pull the wiper arm off of the stem.
Remove the wiper pivot nut, the wiper pivot cap, the wiper pivot washer
and the wiper pivot packing from the wiper motor stem.
Disconnect any wiring going to the wiper and washer motors.
Remove the wiper motor retaining bolts and pull the motor off of the door.
Remove the right, rear quarter panel trim — refer to Section
10 for the instructions.
Remove the washer tank assembly mounting bolts. Be careful, the washer tank
might be full of washer fluid. Empty the washer tank assembly into a clean
container.
Disconnect the wiring from the washer motor and pump assembly.
Remove the washer motor and pump from its the washer fluid tank.

To install, place the washer motor in its mounting bracket and tighten the
bracket to hold it.
Connect the washer tube to the motor, and mount the washer tank assembly
to the wall.
Hook the wiring back up to the washer motor and pump assembly.
Install the rear quarter trim panel.
Mount the wiper motor onto the door and torque the mounting bolts to 5–7
ft. lbs. (7–10 Nm).
Connect the electrical wiring to the wiper motor.
Slide the wiper pivot packing, washer, pivot cap and nut onto the stem.
Tighten the nut to 6–9 ft. lbs. (8–12 Nm).
Install the wiper arm onto the wiper motor stem so that the wiper blade
is parallel to the lower edge of the window glass.
Install the retaining nut onto the wiper motor stem at a torque of 5–7
ft. lbs. (7–10 Nm) and pop the cover back over the nut.
Install the back door trim and the waterproof film to the inside of the
door.
Place the inside handle cover in position and secure it there with the retaining
screws.
Fill the washer motor tank with clean washer fluid.
Connect the negative (-) battery cable back to the battery.
Disconnect the negative (-) battery cable from the battery.
Pop the wiper arm nut cover off and remove the retaining nut.
Pull the wiper arm off of the stem.
Remove the back door trim — refer to Section 10 for the
procedure.
Disconnect any wiring going to the wiper and washer motors.
Remove the wiper motor retaining bolts and pull the motor off of the door.
Remove the washer tank assembly mounting bolts. Be careful, the washer tank
might be full of washer fluid. Empty the washer tank assembly into a clean
container.
Disconnect the washer tube from the washer motor and remove the motor from
its mounting bracket.
To install, place the washer motor in its mounting bracket and tighten the
bracket to hold it.
Connect the washer tube to the motor, and mount the washer tank assembly
to the door.
Install the grommet on the wiper motor so that he arrow on the grommet points
down.
Mount the wiper motor onto the door and torque the mounting bolts to 18
ft. lbs. (25 Nm).
Connect any wiring to the two motors.
Install the back door trim and the waterproof film to the inside of the
door.
Install the wiper arm onto the wiper motor stem so that the upper tip of
the wiper blade is 2.5–3 in. (65–75mm) away from the right-hand
side ceramic section surrounding the window.
Install the retaining nut onto the wiper motor stem at a torque of 6 ft.
lbs. (8 Nm) and pop the cover back over the nut.
Fill the washer motor tank with clean washer fluid.
Connect the negative (-) battery cable back to the battery.
