Code No.B2419 LF antenna voltage short
| caution |
When replacing the ECU, always check that the communication circuit is normal.
|
DIAGNOSTIC FUNCTION
When a short to power supply is detected in the wiring harness in between the interior and exterior transmitter antenna, KOS-ECU sets the diagnosis code No.B2419.
| note |
When the diagnosis code No.B2419 is set, KOS-ECU does not perform the certification with the keyless operation key.
|
JUDGMENT CRITERIA
When an abnormality is found with the wiring harness in between the interior and exterior transmitter antenna, KOS-ECU determines that a problem has occurred.
PROBABLE CAUSES
- Damaged wiring harness and connectors
- Malfunction of the KOS-ECU
DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE
STEP 1. Connector check: C-08 KOS-ECU connector, each inside and outside transmission antenna assembly connector
Q.
Is the check result normal?
Go to Step 2
Repair the defective connector.
STEP 2. Check the wiring harness between KOS-ECU connector and each inside and outside transmission antenna assembly connector.
Check the following wiring harnesses for short to power supply.
- Wiring harness between C-08 KOS-ECU connector terminal No. 32, 44 and D-26 outside transmission antenna assembly (driver’s side) connector terminal No. 1, 5
- Wiring harness between C-08 KOS-ECU connector terminal No. 30, 42 and D-05 outside transmission antenna assembly (passenger’s side) connector terminal No. 1, 5
- Wiring harness between C-08 KOS-ECU connector terminal No. 31, 43 and C-19 inside transmission antenna assembly (front) connector terminal No. 1, 5
- Wiring harness between C-08 KOS-ECU connector terminal No. 29, 41 and D-10 inside transmission antenna assembly (rear) connector terminal No. 1, 5
- Wiring harness between C-08 KOS-ECU connector terminal No. 28, 40 and G-13 outside transmission antenna assembly (tailgate) connector terminal No. 1, 2
| note |
Before the wiring harness inspection, inspect C-17, C-26, C-27 and G-20 intermediate connectors, and repair them if necessary.
|
Q.
Is the check result normal?
Go to Step 3
Repair the wiring harness.
STEP 3. Check whether the diagnosis code is reset.
|
|
(1)Erase the diagnosis code.
|
|
|
(2)Turn the power supply mode of the engine switch from OFF to ON.
|
|
|
(3)Check if the diagnosis code is set.
|
Q.
Is the diagnosis code set?
Replace KOS-ECU and register the ID codes (Refer to
).
The diagnosis is complete.
