No. 1 INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR

1. Disconnect the air flow sensor connector.
2. Measure the resistance between terminal No. 4 and No. 5 of the air flow sensor connector.
Standard value:
  • 13 - 18 kΩ (at -20°C)
  • 5.3 - 6.7 kΩ (at 0°C)
  • 2.3 - 3.0 kΩ (at 20°C)
  • 0.30 - 0.45 kΩ (at 80°C)
3. Remove the air flow sensor.

4. Measure resistance while heating the sensor using a hair drier.
Normal condition:

Temperature (°C)Resistance (kΩ)
HigherSmaller
5. If the value deviates from the standard value or the resistance remains unchanged, replace the air flow sensor.
6. Install the air flow sensor and tighten it to the specified torque.
Tightening torque: 1.5 ± 0.3 N·m

No. 2 INTAKE AIR TEMPERATURE SENSOR

1. Disconnect the boost pressure sensor connector.
2. Measure the resistance between terminal No. 1 and No. 3 of the boost pressure sensor connector.
Standard value:
  • 13 - 18 kΩ (at -20°C)
  • 5.3 - 6.7 kΩ (at 0°C)
  • 2.3 - 3.0 kΩ (at 20°C)
  • 0.30 - 0.45 kΩ (at 80°C)
3. Remove the boost pressure sensor.

4. Measure resistance while heating the sensor using a hair drier.
Normal condition:

Temperature (°C)Resistance (kΩ)
HigherSmaller
5. If the value deviates from the standard value or the resistance remains unchanged, replace the boost pressure sensor.
6. Install the boost pressure sensor and tighten it to the specified torque.
Tightening torque: 5.5 ± 1.5 N·m
