FUNCTION
  • The engine-ECU monitors the DC/DC converter (control system) whether it is normal.
 
 
TROUBLE JUDGEMENT
Check Condition
  • Ignition switch is "ON" position.
Judgement Criterion
  • Either of the following diagnosis code is set.
    1. Code No. B1351: DC/DC converter (control system) performance
    2. Code No. B1352: DC/DC converter (control system) system
 
 
FAIL-SAFE AND BACKUP FUNCTION
  • In the normal operation, the auto stop is prohibited.
 
 
PROBABLE CAUSES
  • Failed DC/DC converter (control system) circuit
  • Failed DC/DC converter (control system)
  • Failed engine-ECU
 
 
DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE
STEP 1. M.U.T.-IIISE diagnosis code
Is any other diagnosis code than B1355 set?
Inspection chart for diagnosis code (Refer to ).
Go to Step 2.
 
STEP 2. M.U.T.-IIISE diagnosis code
  • Reconfirmation of the diagnosis code.
Is the diagnosis code set?
Replace the engine-ECU.
Intermittent malfunction (Refer to GROUP 00 - How to Use Troubleshooting/Inspection Service Points - How to Cope with Intermittent Malfunctions ).
