RESISTANCE BETWEEN TERMINALS CHECK
 
1. Disconnect the waste gate actuator connector.
2. Measure the resistance between the terminals of the connector at the waste gate actuator.
Standard value: 1.25 - 3.75 Ω (at 25°C)
3. If the resistance deviates from the standard value, replace the turbocharger assembly.
 
4. Check the electrical continuity of the points shown in the table below. Confirm that there is not electrical continuity. If there is, replace the turbocharger assembly.

OPERATION CHECK
noteConfirm open circuit and looseness for the harness and connector before operation check.
1. At IG-ON, check that the waste gate actuator rod moves. If the waste gate actuator rod is not moving, replace the turbocharger assembly.
