Code No. P1607: Malfunction of System Power Supply (low voltage)
DIAGNOSTIC FUNCTION
The CVT-ECU determines that the system is defective if too low battery voltage is supplied to the ECU (open circuit in the power supply circuit).
JUDGEMENT CRITERIA
The battery voltage remains less than 8.0 V for 0.2 seconds.
PROBABLE CAUSES
- Damaged wiring harness and connectors
DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE
M.U.T.-IIISE diagnosis code
Check whether a diagnosis code other than P1607 is set.Is diagnosis code set?
Carry out the appropriate troubleshooting.
Repair the connector(s) or the wiring harness (BATT, BAT2 line between the CVT-ECU connector and the battery).
