COMMENTS ON TROUBLE SYMPTOM
If the illumination lamp does not come on after the heated steering wheel switch is turned on, the heated steering wheel switch, the heater controller assembly (A/C-ECU), or the illumination circuit lines to the heated steering wheel switch may be defective.
 
 
 
PROBABLE CAUSES
  • Malfunction of heated steering wheel switch
  • Malfunction of heater controller assembly (A/C-ECU)
  • Defective harness wire(s) or connector(s)
    • Short or open circuit between the heater controller assembly (A/C-ECU) and the heated steering wheel switch or loose connector contact
