TORQUE SENSOR CALIBRATION
| caution | After the next operation has been completed, carry out the following two operations:- Alignment adjustment <Front>
- Steering wheel and steering wheel sensor (column switch assembly) replacement, removal, installation
- EPS-ECU replacement
- Steering column shaft assembly replacement
- Reset the calibrated value of the torque sensor neutral position stored in EPS-ECU.
- Update the steering wheel neutral position stored in the EPS-ECU.

| caution | - Before performing the calibration, check if the steering wheel sensor-related diagnosis code is set in ASC-ECU.
- When the diagnosis codes other than C1518 and C1519 are set, carry out inspection according to each troubleshooting procedure.

1. | caution | Do not apply torque to the steering wheel. |
Park the vehicle on a level surface with tyres and steering wheel positioned in a straight ahead direction.
2. | caution | Before connecting or disconnecting scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), always turn the ignition switch to the LOCK (OFF) position. |
Before setting scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE), turn the ignition key to the LOCK (OFF) position.
3. Ignition switch: ON
4. Select "4WS/Electric Power Steering."
5. Select "Special function."
6. Select "Test."
7. Select and run "Torque sensor neutral position learning."
8. Check whether the EPS-ECU-related diagnosis code is set.
9. Confirm that diagnosis codes No. C1518 and C1519 are not set in the EPS-ECU. If those diagnosis codes are set, start torque sensor calibration again from the beginning.
10. Before removing scan tool (M.U.T.-IIISE) from the vehicle, turn the ignition key to the LOCK (OFF) position.
