REMOTE CONTROLLED DOOR MIRROR OPERATION CHECK
Remove the door trim, and then connect the battery to the door mirror assembly connector to check that the door mirror operates.
 
 
VEHICLE WITH CAMERA
Battery connectionOperation direction
  • Connect terminal No. 13 to the negative battery terminal.
  • Connect terminal No. 4 to the positive battery terminal.
Up
  • Connect terminal No. 13 to the positive battery terminal.
  • Connect terminal No. 4 to the negative battery terminal.
Down
  • Connect terminal No. 13 to the negative battery terminal.
  • Connect terminal No. 12 to the positive battery terminal.
Right
  • Connect terminal No. 13 to the positive battery terminal.
  • Connect terminal No. 12 to the negative battery terminal.
Left
  • Connect terminal No. 14 to the positive battery terminal.
  • Connect terminal No. 5 to the negative battery terminal.
Retract
  • Connect terminal No. 14 to the negative battery terminal.
  • Connect terminal No. 5 to the positive battery terminal.
Extend

  • Connect terminal No. 10 to the positive battery terminal.
  • Connect terminal No. 9 to the negative battery terminal.
Retract
  • Connect terminal No. 10 to the negative battery terminal.
  • Connect terminal No. 9 to the positive battery terminal.

HEATED DOOR MIRROR CHECK
cautionWhen relocating the car between locations with extremely different temperatures (warm and cold), leave the car in the location for a while to adapt to the temperature prior to checking it.
 
Check that the resistance value between the door mirror assembly connector terminal No. 1 and 9 <vehicles with camera>/No. 7 and 8 <vehicles without camera> is at the standard value.
Standard value: 7.2 ± 1.4 Ω at 25°C

BLIND SPOT WARNING LAMP CHECK

cautionDo not apply battery voltage to door mirror assembly connector No. 3 terminal as the blind spot warning lamp is broken.
Apply 5V to the door mirror assembly connector terminal No. 3 <vehicles with camera>/No. 4 <vehicles without camera>, earth the terminal No. 11 <vehicles with camera>/No. 5 <vehicles without camera>, and then check that the illumination lights up.

cautionDo not apply battery voltage to blind spot warning lamp connector No. 1 terminal as the blind spot warning lamp is broken.
Apply 5V to the blind spot warning lamp connector terminal No. 2, earth the terminal No. 1, and then check that the illumination lights up.
 
 
 
Checking the door mirror main wiring harness wires for continuity
Check the continuity between the door mirror assembly connector and the blind spot warning lamp connector.
