DIAGNOSTIC FUNCTION
Diagnosis code No. B16AA will be set when the turn-signal lamp (RH) control circuit in the ETACS-ECU fails.
JUDGEMENT CRITERIA
Diagnosis code No. B16AA will be set when the ETACS-ECU detects a short to earth in its turn-signal lamp (RH) control circuit.
PROBABLE CAUSES
- Turn -signal lamp circuit fails
- Malfunction of the ETACS-ECU
DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE
M.U.T.-IIISE diagnosis code
Check if the diagnosis code No. B16A4 is set to the ETACS-ECU.Is the diagnosis code set?
Carry out the troubleshooting for diagnosis code No. B16A4. On completion, replace the ETACS-ECU when it has not been replaced as the troubleshooting process for diagnosis code No. B16A4. This is because diagnosis code No. B16AA cannot be erased.
Replace the ETACS-ECU.
