DIAGNOSTIC FUNCTION
Diagnosis code No. B1E1B will be set when the rear fog lamp control circuit in the ETACS-ECU fails.
JUDGEMENT CRITERIA
Diagnosis code No. B1E1B will be set when the ETACS-ECU detects a short to earth in its rear fog lamp control circuit.
PROBABLE CAUSES
- Rear fog lamp control circuit fails
- Malfunction of the ETACS-ECU
DIAGNOSIS PROCEDURE
M.U.T.-IIISE diagnosis code
Check if diagnosis code No. B1E1A is set in the ETACS-ECU.Is the diagnosis code set?
Carry out the troubleshooting for diagnosis code No. B1E1A. On completion, replace the ETACS-ECU when it has not been replaced as the troubleshooting process for diagnosis code No. B1E1A. This is because diagnosis code No. B1E1B cannot be erased.
Replace the ETACS-ECU.
